Outdoor Pebble Sculpture

This is a hand-built stoneware sculpture is created using the traditional coiling technique,  building the form gradually from the base upwards.  It is finished with a white clay slip and saggar-fired, creating its distinctive, naturally varied surface.  Suitable for both  indoor or outdoor display.

Each sculpture  is made to order,  without the use of a mould, making every piece individually unique.  While the overall form will remain similar, subtle variations in shape,  surface and finish are part of the character of the handmade process.

For those wishing to commission the exact form shown, a bronze casting is also possible, with a choice of finishes to suit your preference.   Bronze commissions are priced separately.
